  • The article focuses on the spread of the Zika virus in the U.S. along with a map and graphs concerning which U.S. States had infections reported. It states the disease initially was detected in the U.S. 2007, with over 50 cases identified since that time. It mentions most of the patients contracted the virus while abroad, while two acquired the virus through sexual contact. It comments that the World Health Organization expects up to four million cases in 2016 with most being asymptomatic.
