  • The article discusses the creation of elastic glass by materials scientists led by Seiji Inaba of the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. Topics include the stretching of glass at high temperatures to change its molecular structure and shrink its fibers, and Inaba's work at Asahi Glass in Yokohama, Japan to find a way for the glass to contact at room temperature.
