  • Extance interviews satellite oceanographer and surfer Bob Brewin about why it's useful to monitor sea temperatures. Brewin tells what gave him the idea of people taking instruments out when surfing. He also cites the monitoring equipment he uses and reveals what he found after he went surfing 85 times last year. Lastly, he shares how he's encouraging surfers to wear monitoring devices and then send him the data afterwards.
