  • The article discusses the risk of earthquake-related dam bursts in the Himalayan Mountains. According to the author, Chinese and Indian dams in geologically active areas could cause significant damage if they experience failure during predicted earthquakes. It is suggested that both China and India have withheld information about the design and robustness of their dams. Other topics include corruption and the Tehri Dam in the Central Himalayas.
