  • The article discusses climate change mitigation, with a particular focus on possible methods of limiting global warming to two degrees Celsius. According to the author, meeting such a goal is difficult but possible, and would involve immediate action to phase out coal use and abstention from significant portions of the world's oil and natural gas reserves. Other topics include reforestation, solar cells, and direct capture of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
