    • The article presents the author's opinion regarding whether humans should use "cosmetic" neurology, or artificial procedures, to improve intellect as of February 2014, with a focus on the ethical concerns and societal impacts of brain-manipulating technologies. Topics include cognition-enhancing technologies including transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS), the use of attention-focusing medication such as Adderall and Concerta, and safety concerns.
