  • Between September 2006 and June 2007 it is built for Union Fenosa a coal storage silo at Centenario quay at port of A Coruña. this building, shaped like a lowered spherical dome, popularly known as the Medusa, with its 8.660 m2 diaphanous, is one of the largest covered spaces in Europe. We show formal genesis and structural conditions that led to the final design and construction process of this industrial building too. Due to its size and visibility, it had a strong aesthetic conditioning from the beginning.
