Resumen de When to remember and when to forget?: the Masovian Gentry's Court petita in the Vasa period (1587-1668)
This article focuses on petititons of the Polish gentry from the Masovia region in their court affairs. It indicates many aspects of the petitions: factors in the process of their formation, which institutions they were addressed to, or who were their beneficiaries. The last part of the article contains the gentry's arguments used to support their requests. Their analysis shows legal values which were important to the local gentry in that period
