    En el presente trabajo se muestran las rupturas y continuidades que provoca la reconquista del reino de Murcia para la población musulmana del territorio y su tratamiento a través de la historiografía murciana. Con la conquista castellana del reino de Murcia por Alfonso X, la vida de los mudé-jares cambia inexorablemente. El monarca castellano interviene en la configu-ración de la ciudad y dispone la vida de sus habitantes. La fuerte presión ejer-cida por la población cristiana limitó la actividad de los mudéjares, que fueron obligados a abandonar el territorio en busca de condiciones favorables. La vida cotidiana de los mudéjares murcianos se aborda por la historiografía a partir de los años 70 del siglo XX. Su precursor, el profesor Torres Fontes ha dejado un importante legado, seguido de sus discípulos que han intentado paliar el vacío historiográfico existente sobre dicha temática publicando gran cantidad de ar-tículos sobre la cotidianidad de esta minoría en territorio murciano.

    In this paper there will appear the breaks and continuities that are produced, for the moorish population of the kingdom after the conquest as well as the thematic boarding for murcian historiography. With the Castilian conquest of the kingdom of Murcia for Alfonso X the life of the Spanish Mus-lims living under Christian rule murcians changes considerably. The King of Castile intervenes in the configuration of the city and arranges the life of the Moslem population of the kingdom. With the strong pressure exercised by the population Christian substratum, the Spanish Muslims living under Christian rule will see their activity limited meeting obliged to leave the territory in pur-suit of an improvement of their living conditions. The daily life of the Spanish Muslims living under Christian rule murcians has been approached by the his-toriography from the 70s of the 20th century. His predecessor, the teacher Torres Fontes has left an important legacy continued by their disciples who have tried to relieve the emptiness historiographicall existing on the above mentioned subject matter publishing great quantity of articles about the com-monness of this minority in murcian territory.
