Resumen de El color rojo según el Kitāb al-Mujaṣṣaṣ de Ibn Sīdah. Una aportación a la lexicografía árabe

  Es muy frecuente encontrar en la lexicografía bilingüe términos relativos al campo semántico del color en los que una misma palabra árabe aparece con diferentes equivalentes en las lenguas occidentales. Sin embargo, no existe suficiente producción científica al respecto por lo que, el objetivo de este trabajo será, tomando como ejemplo el color rojo, comenzar a construir el campo semántico del color en la lengua árabe a través de un análisis sincrónico basado en la lexicografía árabe medieval. Mi principal fuente es el Kitāb al-Mujaṣṣaṣ de Ibn Sīdah, del que selecciono un corpus léxico en el que solo tendré en cuenta los paradigmas del nombre de color. Las definiciones que Ibn Sīdah ofrece han sido contrastadas con las dadas en otros diccionarios bilingües de referencia para desarrollar esta investigación. Dicho análisis se ha realizado utilizando una metodología propia y cercana a la de la disciplina de la “Terminología”, con el fin de asentar las bases para construir un futuro campo semántico del color en lengua árabe.

  In bilingüal lexicography it is quite frequent to find an Arabic word denoting a specific color with several different meanings in Western Languages. Although there are not many studies concerning the semantics of color in Arabic, the aim of this study is to present an overview of the color semantic fields in Arabic taking as an example, the red color. I would present a sincronic study based on Medieval Arabic Lexicography. The main source of this study is Ibn Sīdah’s Kitāb al-Mujaṣṣaṣ from which I will obtain a corpus of colors. The definitions offered by Ibn Sīdah have been compared to others contained in some bilingual dictionaries just to make my own study.

  I have used the methodology of “the terminology” discipline, drawing up the foundations for a semantic field of colour in Arabic. After this, it will be possible to elaborate a glossary covering all the lexical field of the colour with the Spanish equivalent.
