  • The present paper discusses critically not only the different studies revolving around terrorism, but the controversy revolving around the idea the culture of terror by t he same government, which should protect the citizens. Although a whole portion of scholarship sustain that terrorism is a global and major threat for Occident, others hold the thesis the nation-state fabricates a climate of fear for some liberal economic policies to be widely accepted.
