    Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar una política cultural juvenil, específicamente un concurso de bandas de rock denominado Vamos las bandas, lanzado por la Dirección de Juventud, de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social de la Municipalidad de La Plata en 2014. Comenzaremos presentando el marco teórico-metodológico desde donde nos situamos, en particular acercándonos a definir las nociones de política cultural y juventud, y presentando una propuesta antropológica para el abordaje de políticas culturales. En el segundo apartado, describiremos el diseño y funcionamiento del concurso, así como las trayectorias de algunos participantes del mismo. Luego nos detendremos en analizar los sentidos que nuestros interlocutores le atribuyen a esta política, sus expectativas, sus deseos y sus sensaciones para concluir reflexionando en torno a las apropiaciones diferenciales que la misma habilita.

    This work aims to analyze a cultural policy, particularly a rock band contest called Let´s go the bands, launched by the Directorate of Youth, of the Secretariat of Social Development of the Municipality of La Plata in 2014. We will begin by presenting the theoretical-methodological framework from which we stand, in particular, approaching to define the notions of cultural policy and youth, and presenting an anthropological proposal for the approach of cultural policies. In the second section, we will describe the design and operation of the contest, as well as the trajectories of some participants of the contest. Then we will stop to analyze the meanings that our interlocutors attribute to this policy, their expectations, their desires and their sensations to conclude by reflecting on differential appropriations that the same enables.
