  • The article reports that researchers Stephen Miller of Northwestern University and Lonnie Shea of the University of Michigan have developed an allergen that can be hidden in a nanoparticle which can be spared from infiltration by the immune system. Topics discussed include the avoidance of allergy shots due to possible severe side effects and the development of an allergen that can be enveloped in a nanoparticle which copies the size of fragments of dying blood cells.
