    • The article reports on a study by Gregor Reid of Western University in Ontario and his team and published in the journal "Applied and Environmental Microbiology" as of October 2016 that reveals the important effect on health of bacteria in woman's breast. Topics include the role of microbes in the breast in increasing and decreasing the risk of breast cancer, and the potential of a patient's bacterial makeup as a biomarker for cancer screening.
