  • Resumen
    • The article reports on the differing opinions between DNA bar coders and taxonomists with regards to classifying species, prompted by a study which claims that flies have replaced beetles as life's most diverse order. Topics discussed include the findings of University of Guelph scientists which led to the change in the fly's designation and the taxonomists' claim that bar coding can help classify organisms in taxonomic orders and families but the process is not enough to categorize species.
