  La cultural ha sido una de las primeras motivaciones de los movimientos de viajeros, germen del actual turismo de masas, y en la actualidad, una alternativa para el desempleo estructural y para el desarrollo turístico de interior en las zonas más despobladas. Todo ello en relación con la filosofía del pos-turismo y la ampliación del concepto de patrimonio, cultura y, asimismo, turismo cultural. Existe un interés que se cierne cada vez más, en el acervo inmaterial, antes que en el monumental, a la búsqueda de una experiencia turística emocionante y significativa para el visitante. Alhama-Linares es una comarca de La Rioja Baja, rica en este tipo de patrimonio, en especial historia, leyendas y romances de bandoleros y contrabandistas, que describen rutas sugestivas en una Reserva de La Biosfera y Destino Turístico Starlight, en la que el factor cultural está incentivando un turismo de naturaleza de calidad y sustentable.

  Culture has been one of the main motivations for movements of travelers, the germ of present mass tourism and, nowadays, an alternative for structural unemployment, and the local tourist development of the more uninhabited inland areas; relating to the post-tourism philosophy and the extension of concepts as heritage, culture and cultural tourism. An increased interest is looming from the visitors over the immaterial collection instead the monumental heritage, to the search of the exciting and significant tourist experience for the visitor. Alhama-Linares is a rich region of La Rioja Baja, where abound several types of heritage, especially history, legends and romances of bandits and smugglers, who describe suggestive routes in a Biosphere Reserve and Starlight Tourist Destination. And where the cultural factor has been established that a nature tourism of quality and sustainable.
