    Se aborda el análisis de la obra “Historias peregrinas y ejemplares”, de Gonzalo Céspedes y Meneses (¿1585?-1638) atendiendo al estudio específico de la indumentaria femenina de la época. Para ello se propone descubrir, a través de los textos literarios de la época por medio de la iconografía, un muestrario de trajes femeninos que desfilan por las historias de Céspedes y Meneses y otros autores del momento. Las puntadas que se pretenden realizar en este tapiz literario permiten mostrar el mundo en torno al cual se presentan los tipos de personajes femeninos. Las tramas giran alrededor de la dama que participa activamente en la peripecia amatoria. Ella asume por tanto un cierto protagonismo en el ámbito literario desde un enfoque social y muestra los rasgos que caracterizan a la mujer del siglo: XVII, por medio de la moda femenina del Siglo de Oro, ya que en la mayoría de las historias se hace referencia a la forma de vestir de la mujer en donde vemos representados los tipos de todas las clases sociales: desde reinas, religiosas, aristócratas, «tapadas», entre otras. Se recorren los talleres de pintores y escritores que con la delicadeza de sus cuadros, unos, y la revelación de sus textos, otros, juegan con todo un universo femenino de la época. La pintura y los textos literarios se estudian de forma comparativa.

    The analysis of the work “Historias peregrinas y ejemplares”, by Gonzalo Céspedes and Meneses (¿1585? -1638) is addressed, taking into account the specific study of female clothing of the time. For this purpose, it is proposed to discover, through the literary texts of the time through iconography, a sample of feminine costumes that parade through the stories of Céspedes and Meneses and other authors of the moment. The stitches that are in tended to be made in this literary tapestry allow us to show the world around which the types of female characters are presented. The plots revolve around the lady who actively participates in the amatory adventure. She therefore assumes a certain role in the literary field from a social perspective show the traits that characterize the woman of the seventeenth century, through the feminine fashion of the Golden Age, since in most of the stories reference is made to the way of dressing of women in which we see represented the types of all social classes: from queens, religious, aristocrats, «covered», among others. They go through the workshops of painters and writers who, with the delicacy of their paintings and the revelation of their texts, play with a whole feminine universe of the time.
