    Este artículo tiene como pretensión realizar un estudio comparativo de la reflexión del filósofo Javier Sádaba y del ensayista y diplomático Gonzalo Puente Ojea en dos ámbitos de pensamiento: en primer lugar, el hecho religioso, atendiendo a dos perspectivas personales distintas, el agnosticismo de Sádaba y el ateísmo de Puente Ojea y a dos planteamientos divergentes en su esencia, el “animismo” de Puente Ojea y la concepción filosófico-antropológica de Sádaba de la religión en sentido amplio. En segundo lugar el estudio compara su reflexión política sobre la transición española.     This article intends to make a comparative study of the reflection of the philosopher Javier Sádaba and of the essayist and diplomat Gonzalo Puente Ojea in two areas of thought: first, the religious fact, attending to two different personal perspectives, the agnosticism of Sádaba and the atheism of Puente Ojea and two divergent approaches in its essence, the "animism" of Puente Ojea and the philosophical-anthropological conception of Sádaba of religion in the broad sense. Secondly, the study compares its political reflection on the Spanish transition. The choice of themes is explained because both fields have been coincidentally worked out by the two thinkers
