Revolución simbólica o barbarie: feminismo y política

    El siguiente artículo comienza con un acercamiento al papel que desempeñan las mujeres en los movimientos políticos y sociales, siendo el punto central intentar explicar las dificultades de su participación en la toma de decisiones. Apoyándonos en experiencias propias y en otras vivencias recogidas en estudios antropológicos, partiremos de la existencia de estas dificultades y se intentará hacer un análisis de las causas. Para esto último utilizaremos principalmente el concepto de valor y capital simbólico de Bourdieu así como la teoría del valor-escisión de Roswitha Scholz. El objetivo final esperado, viendo la problemática, sería apuntar hacia soluciones efectivas que hagan del terreno de la política un campo no exclusivamente masculino.

    Dado lo difícil que resulta el planteamiento de soluciones, solo se podrá esbozar una crítica al campo burocrático estatal encaminada a intentar demostrar la imposibilidad de un cambio de situación para nosotras exclusivamente mediante reformas parciales o la valoración individual de nuestro papel en política. La necesidad de una revolución simbólica, como revolución de la estructura y las relaciones en el campo, se nos presenta entonces como algo prioritario y colectivo para la cual este artículo pretende ser una aportación.

    The following article begins with an approach to the role played by women in political and social movements, being the central point that tries to explain the difficulties of their participation in decision-making. Based on our own experiences and other experiences gathered in anthropological studies, we will start from the existence of these difficulties and we will be able to analyze the causes. For this last, we will mainly use the concept of value and symbolic capital of Bourdieu as well as the value-split theory of Roswitha Scholz. The expected final objective, looking at the problem, would be to point towards effective solutions that make the field of politics a field that is not exclusively masculine.

    Given how difficult the solution approach is, we can only sketch a critique of the bureaucratic state field aimed at trying to demonstrate the impossibility of a change of situation for us exclusively through partial reforms or the individual valuation of our role in politics.

    The necessity of a symbolic revolution, as a revolution of the structure and relations in the field, is then presented to us as something both priority and collective for which this article aims to be a contribution.
