    Basque pop music has reflected many of the social changes that have taken place in our territory, but has also performed, planned, facilitated, guided or transformed those processes of change: this cultural phenomenon can serve to tell, explain and unders­ tand our history recent, like other phenomena and processes. The new and not so new music, emerged in recent years is the result of the evolution of this society, but has also been an important cultural attractor, a cultural device that has addressed these changes, it has fosteren an countercultural ethnogenesis

    Euskal pop musikak gure lurraldean gertatu diren zenbait aldaketa sozial batzuetan eta beste batzuetan performatu, aurreikusi, erraztu, bideratu, moldatu, egin ditu: fenomeno honek gure historia hurbila kontatzeko, azaltzeko eta ulertzeko balio dezake, beste horrenbeste fenomenok eta gertaerak bezala. Sortu den musika berria eta ez horren berria gizarte honen eboluzioaren emaitza da, baina aldaketak norabideratzeko dispostibo kultural eta identitario garrantzitsua izan da, kultur erakarle inportantea, etnogenesi kontrakultura eragin duena.
