  • Resumen
    • To test whether someone has been exposed to a specific virus, one can add a protein from that virus to a sample of their blood. If antibodies target it then the person has previously been infected. Stephen Elledge at Harvard University and his colleagues have pushed this idea further and developed a way to test for every single human virus in one go--and all that's needed is a drop of a person's blood. Costing $25, the test could help doctors identify hidden infections.
