Resumen de Retórica e humor gráfico: ethé dos fradinhos, de Henfil

Abstract In enunciating, the speaker expounds his opinion, reveals values and beliefs, trying not only to influence people, but also to establish agreement with them. It is in the enunciation, therefore, that the argumentative strategies are processed. Considering that, in the argumentative system of any discourse, ethos occupies a prominent place, this text aims to show how the Fradinhos, characters created by the drawer Henfil, are revealed in the humorous discourse. For this, it is taken as corpus of analysis graphic productions that are included in the first issue of the reprint edition of Fradim magazine (2013, historical edition). The study is based especially on the theoretical assumptions of Rhetoric (Aristóteles ;2015) and New Rhetoric (Perelman e Olbrechts-Tyteca 1996; Reboul 2004; Meyer 2007), approaches in which the ethos constitutes the image that the speaker / enunciator produces of itself in its discourse.

Resumo Ao enunciar, o orador expõe sua opinião, revela valores e crenças, tentando não só influenciar as pessoas, mas também estabelecer acordo com elas. É na enunciação, portanto, que se processam as estratégias argumentativas. Considerando-se que, no sistema argumentativo de qualquer discurso, o ethos ocupa um lugar de destaque, este texto objetiva mostrar como os Fradinhos, personagens criados pelo desenhista Henfil, revelam-se no discurso humorístico. Para isso, tomam-se como corpus de análise produções gráficas que constam do primeiro número da reedição da revista Fradim (2013, edição histórica). O estudo fundamenta-se especialmente nos pressupostos teóricos da Retórica (Aristóteles 2015) e da Nova Retórica (Perelman e Olbrechts-Tyteca 1996; Reboul 2004; Meyer 2007), abordagens para as quais o ethos constitui a imagem que o orador/enunciador produz de si em seu discurso.
