  • The article presents global public health news briefs. Topics include research suggesting that participation in religious activities lowers the risk of binge drinking among students in Brazil, a systematic review suggesting higher emergency department use among migrants to European countries than nonmigrants, and a study suggesting that the level of knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS and stigma in a population contribute to HIV care and treatment outcomes.
