  • The authors reflect on various changes involving America's public health during U.S. President Barack Obama's tenure as the nation's leader, and it mentions the passage of the country's Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, as well as the claim that the gap between America's wealthy and poor people has widened during Obama's presidential administration. Environmental regulations and the threat of climate change are addressed, along with health inequality in America.
