  • An editorial is presented which addresses the political aspects of firearm safety in America as of 2018, and it mentions a balance of power, as well as several other articles which appear in the same issue of the journal and deal with topics such as gun violence prevention. Organizations that are seeking the enactment of firearm safety legislation are examined, along with the National Rifle Association of America, student activism, and changes to the gun-owning population in the U.S.
