  • An editorial is presented which addresses the authors' views about the sponsorship of LGBT pride parades and festivals by tobacco and alcoholic beverage companies, and it mentions tobacco use and alcohol abuse by LGBT people. Pride event policies regarding tobacco and alcohol are examined, along with the U.S. Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act of 2009, premature deaths in America, and the health aspects of smoking and alcohol consumption.
