  • The article reports on a study which revealed that tripping cephalopods can help in better understanding the roots of sociability throughout the animal kingdom including in people. Topics discussed include 3,4-methylene-dioxy-methamphetamine as an amazing tool for studying social behaviors and the octopuses' raver like reactions which suggest that the human brain regions so closely associated with social bonding and affability may be evolutionary accidents rather tan necessary elements.
