Formación y conocimiento de la educación inclusiva en tutores de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí

     Esta  investigación  se  efectúo con  el objetivo de conocer  el  nivel de capacitación y  conocimiento  en  educación  inclusiva  en tutores  y  estudiantes.  El estudio fue realizado con la participación de 10 docentes tutores y 130 estudiantes del Departamento de Ingles de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí (UTM). Se realizó un estudio cualitativo etnográfico, se aplicaron cuestionarios a los estudiantes que asisten a las clases de tutoría, entrevistas a los tutores y se aplicó guías de observación en algunas horas tutoriales. De acuerdo con los resultados se concluye, que tanto tutores como estudiantes no están capacitados lo suficiente para trabajar con la inclusión y hay desconocimiento  de la legislación vigente en educación inclusiva. Se recomienda iniciar programas de formación continua en inclusión educativa y realizar un plan de acción para la divulgación de la legislación vigente en inclusión.

    This research was carried out with the objective of knowing the level of training and knowledge in inclusive education in tutors and students. The study was  carried  out  with  the  participation  of  10  tutors  and  130  students  from  the  English  Department  of  the  Technical  University  of  Manabí  (UTM).  A qualitative ethnographic study was carried out, questionnaires were applied to the students attending the tutoring classes, interviews with the tutors and observation guides were applied in some tutorial hours. According to the results, it is concluded that both tutors and students are not sufficiently trained to  work  with  inclusion  and  there  is  ignorance  of  the  current  legislation  in  inclusive  education.  It  is  recommended  to  initiate  continuing  education programs in educational inclusion and to carry out an action plan for the dissemination of current legislation in inclusion.
