  En el presente trabajo se exponen las conclusiones obtenidas después de estudiar 75 casos oftalmológicos con ayuda de citologías queratoconjuntivales. El método de trabajo ha consistido en la recogida de la muestra directamente con hisopo estéril y posteriormente extensiones en portaobjetos, secado al aire y fijación con alcohol metílico para seguir con una tinción de Giemsa. La simplicidad de la técnica y la facilidad de interpretación dan pie que la propongamos como medio de indiscutible valor en el correcto diagnóstico y tratamiento de las afecciones del polo anterior del ojo. * In this paper the conclusions obtained after studying 75 opthalmological cases with the aid ol queratoconjunctival eytology are presented. The work method consisted of taking samples directly with a sterile swab, extension on a slide, air drying and fixing with methyl alcohol folloued by staining with Giemsa's stain. The simplicity of the technique, and the ease of interpretation leads us to propase this procedure as a means of undoubtable value for correct diagnosis and treatment of diseasesal fecting the anterior pole of the eye.
