    Se exponen cinco casos de melanoma uveal primario, tres de ellos en perro y dos en gato, siendo cuatro de localización en úvea anterior y uno en úvea posterior. Se discuten los diferentes métodos diagnósticos de posible aplicación en clínica de pequeños animales, en orden a valorar las prestaciones que ofrecen para el diagnósticodiferencial y conocimiento de la malignidad del tumor. * We have recorded five cases of primary uveal melanoma, three in dogs and two in cats,four being located in frontal uvea and one in posterior uvea. The purpose of using these distinct diagnostic methods of possible application in the clinic for small anirnals, is to evaluate the efficiency of these different diagnostic methods in the differential diagnostic, and evaluate the malignancy of the tumor.
