Se describe un caso cie una hemorragia afectando el tejido subcutáneo, después de una ovariohisterectornía rutinaria practicada en una perra mestiza, debido a un defecto de coagulación de origen hereditario (enfermedad de Van Willebrand). Se realiza e! diagnóstico diferencial en función cie la falta de historia y sintomatología previa, el tipo de hemorragia y el aumento en el tiempo de coagulación. La determinación del factor VIII: A fue diagnóstico.
