La moral del respeto universal

    En este artículo pretendo presentar la moral del respeto universal y su compromiso con una concepción de justicia igualitaria. Para ello, pretendo aclarar qué significa, de acuerdo con Tugendhat, justificar un concepto de moral, y, más concretamente, aceptar la moral del respeto universal. Para el autor, la pregunta por la aceptación o no de una perspectiva moral está relacionada con la cuestión acerca del tipo de persona que queremos ser, a la construcción de nuestra identidad cualitativa. Con eso, Tugendhat descarta la posibilidad de responder al llamado escepticismo moral y propone la sustitución de la promesa de una fundamentación última de la moral, por la justificación de la mayor plausibilidad de una perspectiva moral, frente a perspectivas morales concurrentes. Promoviendo una relectura del principio moral kantiano como la mejor expresión de nuestra demanda moral, Tugendhat defenderá nuestro compromiso con un concepto de justicia igualitaria y el respeto a los derechos básicos de todos los individuos.

    In this article I intend to present the moral of universal respect and its commitment to a conception of egalitarian justice. For this, I intend to clarify what it means, according to Tugendhat, to justify a concept of morality, and, more specifically, to accept the moral of universal respect. For the author, the question of accepting or not a moral perspective is related to the question of the type of person we want to be, to construction of our qualitative identity. With this, Tugendhat discards the possibility of responding to the so-called moral skepticism and proposes the substitution of the promise of an ultimate foundation of morality, by the justification of the greater plausibility of a moral perspective, against competing moral perspectives. Promoting a re-reading of the Kantian moral principle as the best expression of our moral demand, Tugendhat will defend our commitment to a concept of equal justice and respect for the basic rights of all individuals.
