  • The article discusses a decision by artist Liza Lou to relocate to South African to create sculptures with a team of Zulu artists. Lou opened an art studio in Durban, South Africa to create sculptures made from beads such as a chain-link fence and a cord. Lou intended the sculptures to symbolize political and social conditions.
