Resumen de Night stalker.

Peter G. Brown

  • The article discusses the white nose syndrome (WNS) which derives its name for the fungus that resembles a white, powdery substance on the wings, ears, and noses of bats. The fungus named Geomyces destructans has not proven to be the killer, but many biologists studying the bats think it may be. According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFW), evidence points to G. destructans as the cause, based on the swelling and scarring on the wings of the animals.
