  • Resumen
    • The article discusses the evolution of feathers. According to scientists, the dinosaur Tyrannosaurus rex, which is a member of the taxonomic family known as theropods, was most likely covered in fine feathers as most theropods were. Topics include a description of how the earliest feathers were constructed such as hollow barbs containing keratin, their evolution into long plumes, and what the original purpose of the plumage was, including providing warmth.
