  • The article examines how a shift from the use of cars to urban bicycling in the U.S. may be dependent on figuring out what women want. Topics include a brief overview of statistics regarding the percentage of men and women who bike in U.S. and European countries, an in-depth analysis of women as indicators for bike-friendly cities, and the influence of attitudinal variables, such as comfort, on women cycling rates is also discussed.
