Resumen de Notas de lexicología histórica: elecciones léxicas en cuatro salterios españoles del siglo XVI

  Esta investigación toma como objeto de estudio cuatro salterios españoles del siglo XVI (Enzinas 1550, Biblia de Ferrara 1553, Pérez de Pineda 1557 y Reina 1569). Se compararán las opciones léxicas de los cuatro textos para dar cuenta del léxico de Ferrara que Pérez de Pineda y Reina sustituyen por ser considerado anticuado, y comprobaremos las opciones de la traducción de Enzinas (la primera y, probablemente, la menos hebraizante de las tres). Se completarán estas pesquisas con los medios habituales de la lexicología histórica, como el CORDE, y la información ofrecida por los repertorios lexicográficos. Se comprobará que la mayor parte de las palabras que son sustituidas por estos autores son formas que se abandonan en el siglo XVI, a la vez que pueden documentarse en otros textos coetáneos de judíos sefardíes y en el judeoespañol de todas las épocas.

  This research examines four Spanish Books of Psalms from the 16th century (Enzinas 1550, Ferrara Bible 1553, Pérez de Pineda 1557 and Reina 1569). The lexical choices in these texts will be compared in order to observe the words in Ferrara Bible that Pérez de Pineda and Reina changed, as they were considered outdated. Also, Enzinas’s translation will be taken into account, bearing in mind that it is the first one and, probably, the less Hebraic of them. The inquiry will show that most of the words that are substituted by these translators are words which fell into disuse in the 16th century, and, at the same time, appear in other coetaneous texts of the Sephardic Jews and in Judaeo-Spanish from all periods.
