  • Resumen
    • Geddes interviews epidemiologist Prabhat Jha about "verbal autopsies" in India. Jha tells what inspired him to investigate adult deaths and where verbal autopsies originated. He also explains how he has set up the infrastructure to conduct a million interviews, what has been the response to the interviews, and what happens to the interview narratives once they have been collected. In addition, he cites the limits to verbal autopsies, his most important findings so far, and how people have reacted to such findings. Moreover, he reveals why it's so important to track individual cases in the era of large-scale global health models.
