    The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been important tools with potential in the process of teaching and learning. In this context, it is for us to present the results obtained during the execution of the project "Teaching and Learning trigonometry with the help of the software GeoGebra" that was developed by the Research Group on Teaching and Learning of Mathematics in Computational Environment - GPEMAC, the State University of Santa Cruz - UESC. In this sense, we will emphasize the possible relationships that emerge in the classroom by introducing a computer-learning environment, relating to topics of trigonometry suggested by the National Curriculum Standards. Finally, we list the software capabilities GeoGebra that measured positively teaching these concepts.

    As Tecnologias de Comunicação e Informação (TIC) têm sido ferramentas com potencial importante no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Nesse contexto, compete-nos apresentar os resultados obtidos durante o período de execução do projeto “Ensino e Aprendizagem da Trigonometria com o auxílio do Software GeoGebra” que se desenvolveu junto ao Grupo de Pesquisa em Ensino e Aprendizagem da Matemática em Ambiente Computacional - GPEMAC, da Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz – UESC. Nesse sentido, daremos ênfase às possíveis relações que emergem em sala de aula mediante a introdução de um ambiente computacional de aprendizagem, referentes aos tópicos de Trigonometria sugeridos pelos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais. Por fim, enumeramos as potencialidades do software GeoGebra que mediam de forma positiva o ensino destes conceitos.
