    Il contributo analizza il ruolo giocato dai segni di status ed in particolare la funzione dell’abbigliamento. Questa ricerca applica le conoscenze in materia archeologica, sociologica e storica, per raccontare l’azione della corte, che risolve le questioni circa i problemi di rappresentazione nelle cerimonie pubbliche. In questo modo si vagliano le strategie di comunicazione orientate al timor reverentiae, che insufflano precise idee nei sottoposti. S’apre così ad un nuovo orizzonte di ricerca per la fenomenologia della regalità che tiene conto del potere affabulatorio dell'abito.

    This contribution analyzes the role of status symbols and in particularly the role of imperial outfit. This inquiry applies archaeological, sociological and historical effectiveness and reports themselves to the work of sovereign’s entourage, that concludes questions about the representation problems of the sovereing in pubblic cerimony. In this way, scrutinizes communication’s strategies of timor reverentiae, that infuse precise ideas into the subjects. So can be seen a new horizon in the research regarding the phenomenology of regality, that considers the capacity of narrattion and the power of dress.
