    Estudiamos el astigmatismo postoperatorio y la refracción en 11 0 ojos intervenidos de cataratas por nuestro servicio en el Hospital La Fe y controlados durante un período de seguimiento de 4 años. Se analizan los factores influyentes en el astigmatismo postoperatorio (tipo de intervención, incisión, sutura, factores individuales del paciente y si e practica o no implantación de lente intraocular), así como la evolución de éste, la refracción y la agudeza visual.

    We study the postoperative astigmatism and the refraction in 110 eyes operate of cataracts by our department in the Hospital La Fe (Valencia), being under control for about four years.

    Influential factors in the postoperative astigmatism is analize (type of intervention, incision, suture, individuals factors of the patient, and if the implantation of intraocular lens is practice or not) aswell as the evolution of this, the refraction and the visual acuity.
