Resumen de Un nuevo cuestionario para evaluar la procrastinación en la actividad físico-deportiva: PAFD (A new questionnaire to assess procrastination in physical-sports activity: PAFD)

El objetivo del presente trabajo ha sido elaborar una escala para el estudio de la Procrastinación en la Actividad Físico-deportiva (PAFD) y evaluarla desde una perspectiva multidimensional (afectiva, cognitiva y conductual). Se trata de un estudio instrumental en el que participaron 287 estudiantes, 180 de la Facultad de Educación y Deporte (62.7%) y 107 de Formación Profesional (37.3%), de Vitoria-Gasteiz. (74.2% hombres y 25.8% mujeres, M=23.15 años, DT=3.07). Con objeto de analizar la estructura factorial del cuestionario, se llevó a cabo un análisis factorial exploratorio mediante el programa SPSS v.24. Los datos obtenidos en el presente estudio confirman la tridimensionalidad del constructo procrastinación en actividad físico-deportiva, diferenciándose la dimensión afectiva, cognitiva y conductual. No obstante, se detectan problemas en la fiabilidad del cuestionario, especialmente en la escala conductual.

The aim of this study was to develop a scale of Procrastination in Physical-Sports Activity (PAFD) that would be assessed from a multidimensional perspective (affective, cognitive, and behavioral). This is an instrumental study involving 287 students, 180 from the Faculty of Education and Sport (62.7%) and 107 from Vocational Training (37.3%), both from Vitoria-Gasteiz (74.2% men and 25.8% women, M=23.15 years, SD=3.07). In order to analyze the factorial structure of the questionnaire, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out using the SPSS v.24 statistical package. The data obtained in the present study confirm the multidimensionality of the procrastination in physical-sports activity construct, constituted by the cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. However, problems are detected in the reliability of the questionnaire, especially in the behavioral scale.
