  • The article discusses how, despite questions concerning the AIDS vaccine trial in Thailand, optimism is spreading. According to the author, a phase III trial conducted in Thailand proved to have disappointing results, but offers clues in the battle against AIDS. Topics include details regarding the Thai clinical trial, the uncertainties surrounding the trial, such as the research subjects used, and the renewed sense of hope for people infected with the human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
