  • The article reports that the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) was preparing to launch a major overhaul of network policy, as of February 2010. The U.S. Congress had allotted $7.2 billion to expand broadband access to every American, and required the FCC to come up with a plan to do so. Issues the FCC was expected to address included internet service provider open-access and net neutrality policies.
