  • Resumen
    • The article describes research into the visual perception of colors. It focuses on exceptions to the theory of opponency. It had been thought that the opposing color pairs of red and green, or yellow and blue, could not be simultaneously perceived in the same spot, due to the structure of human visual pathways. Evidence that there are exceptions to this rule is provided. Geometrically patterned optical illusions are also discussed. INSETS: LUMINANCE;Controlled Hallucinations;CAN YOU SEE IT?.
