Los esfuerzos recientes en el Campo Experimental Valle de Mexicali del Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales Agrícolas y Pecuarias, han permitido el desarrollo de variedades de trigo de alto rendimiento y calidad industrial. Entre estos genotipos superiores esta la nueva variedad de trigo harinero Ñipal F2016 que supera el rendimiento de Cachanilla F2000 con 8.1% además es resistente a roya lineal amarilla, resistente a roya de la hoja, septoria, tizón de la espiga y muestra buena calidad industrial. La semilla de Ñipal F2016 está disponible en el Campo Experimental Valle de Mexicali

Recent efforts in the Experimental Field of Mexicali Valley of the National Institute of Agricultural and Livestock Forestry Research have allowed the development of wheat varieties of high yield and industrial quality. Among these superior genotypes is the new bread wheat variety Ñipal F2016, which exceeds the yield of Cachanilla F2000 with 8.1%. It is also resistant to yellow linear rust, resistant to leaf rust, septoria, spica blight and shows good industrial quality.
