  • The article profiles former pediatrician and anti-war activist Benjamin Spock. A discussion of public acclaim and notoriety which Spock gained following the 1946 publication of his book "The Commonsense Book of Baby and Child Care," is presented. Spock's book "Decent and Indecent: Our Personal and Political Behavior," is discussed.
