Resumen de Josefina Plá: sobre alguma correspondência e suas transformações

This article intends to develop an analysis of Josefina Plá’s intellectual background, a Spanish-Paraguayan artist. We will approach the artistic universe of Josefina Plá in her education, from the contacts of an artist born in Europe, with a totally different culture from hers, and the way she views and develops this culture. We also reflect on the possible relation and influence that the work and artistic thought of Josefina Plá may have suffered from the Generation of 27, from Spain. Particularly in the figure of Federico García Lorca, whose thought on what genuinely forms the Spanish being, we relate, with the way in which Josefina Plá represents the Paraguayan being.

Este artigo pretende desenvolver uma análise da trajetória de formação intelectual de Josefina Plá, artista hispano-paraguaia. Abordaremos o universo artístico de Josefina Plá em sua formação, dos contatos de uma artista nascida na Europa, com uma cultura totalmente distinta da sua, e a forma como ela encara e desenvolve essa cultura. Refletimos, também, sobre a possível relação e influência que a obra e o pensamento artístico de Josefina Plá possa ter sofrido da Generación de 27, da Espanha. Principalmente na figura de Federico García Lorca, cujo pensamento acerca daquilo que genuinamente forma o ser espanhol, relacionamos, com a maneira com que Josefina Plá representa o ser paraguaio.
