Análisis del proceso de opresión que va a llevar a los mudéjares castellanos a una conversión general y de algunas actitudes que ésta provocó. Comunidades concentradas en grandes centros, pero al tiempo con un alto grado de movilidad, van a sufrir una gran presión en el reinado de los Reyes Católicos, cristalizada especialmente en su segregación en las morerías y en la hostilidad de la población cristiana. Aunque hay convertidos antes de 1502, los mudéjares harán frente a la gran conversión bien plegándose a ella sin mucho problema, bien desarrollando formas de resistencia.

Analysis of the repressive process against mudejars in Castille towards their general conversion and the reactions caused by this event. Communities concentrated around significant locations, though with great mobility, experienced the important repression under the reign of the Catholic Kings, materialized particularly in their segregation within the Muslim quarters (morerías) and the hostility from the Christian population. Although they converted before 1502, the mudejars will face the general conversion with resigned acceptance, although there were instances of resistance.
