En México y Venezuela existen dos movimientos religiosos, los cuales ofrecen a las personas cierto acercamiento a los muertos: Espiritualidad y el culto a María Lionza, han ofrecido a sus creyentes una relación con los espíritus de los seres queridos y hasta con espíritus de personajes históricos. En ambos cultos, más que la búsqueda de la salvación del espíritu, busca la posibilidad de una mediación divina que proteja de: enfermedades, pérdidas materiales y espirituales. AbstractIn Mexico and Venezuela there are two religious movements, which offer people a certain approach to the dead: Spirituality and the cult of Maria Lionza, these cults have offered their believers a relationship with the spirits of loved ones and even with spirits of historical figures. In both cults more than the search for the salvation of the spirit, seeks the possibility of a divine mediation that protects: diseases, material and spiritual losses. In both cults one works with a great number of spirits. Through the dead a person is able to transport herself and see.
